Implementation of the New European Bauhaus Principles as a Context for Teaching Sustainable Architecture

Due to the presentation of European Green Deal (EGD) on 11 December 2019, it is important introduce a new context for education architects corresponding objectives set by Union. These include reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing energy efficiency buildings, designing buildings in accordance with principles circular economy, using renewable energy, as well promoting ecological food and protecting biodiversity. As part design course Environmentally Friendly Housing Architecture, inspired by, among others, New Bauhaus former art school, both which are compared first this article, we identify number new, assessed indicators related achievement above objectives, line trend sustainable architecture. The divided into four main categories: environment, indoor climate, society, where, example, environmental category includes following criteria: embodied (MJ/m2), carbon footprint (CO2eq/m2), use rainwater gray water (% demand), mains local production vegetables fruit demand).
